Donor Services Associate - Fairfax, VA

1. Purpose of the Job

The Donor Services Associate role is administrative and will perform work as a support specialist. Functions
include record maintenance, processing donations, managing sponsorships, responding to emails, processing
mail, and other administrate and office tasks as necessary. This role provides support to the management of
the organization, documentation, and technical support that simplifies the work of the Donor Relations teams.

2. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Takes the appropriate actions responding to donors' emails requests and inquiries.
  • Maintain and update records in SalesForce  Database.
  • Process accurate sponsorship data information.
  • Manage existing donors and sponsors records and follow up with the required updates.
  • Record donor and sponsors' payments in different methods both domestic and international.
  • Perform administrative and Donor Services Associate office tasks as necessary.

4. Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 to 2-years professional experience.
  • Excellent speaking/writing of English.
  • Arabic reading and speaking skills are a must.
  • Detail-oriented and able to strategically implement production processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with excellent follow up skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with database or contact management software such as Salesforce a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Matching gifts experience is a plus.

Respond to all incoming calls

7. Physical Demands (walking, lifting, carrying, etc.)

Limited to walking and occasional lifting of boxes and luggage.

8. Working Conditions and Environment (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, etc.)

Limited travel may be needed at times with little notice.
